Red and black makeup

These are the two looks I created for a contest entry. For both looks, I used a pearly white, taupe, bright matte red, matte black, and a shimmery maroon color. One has red glitter and the other one had silver. These are perfect looks for Halloween or just for a night out.

Easy Fall Look

This is hands down my go-to fall look: simple eye with a deep red lip. The lid is only 3 different colors: 1 3 shades lighter than my skin tone,  matte brown,  and a matte black. The color lighter than my skin goes all over the lid, from lash line to brow bone. The brown goes in the crease and the black is just to add a tiny bit of depth to the outer v and line my eyes. That's it, super simple look which takes about 5-10 minutes tops!

Like I've said before, I love a simple eye with a bright lip. In this case, the color I'm using is combination of a blue-red and some black lipstick. This look is perfect for fall and can be recreated in a flash. Hope you try it out!

Colleen Abena Designer Shoot

Like my last post, I also forgot I had these! A couple weeks back I worked with clothing designer Colleen Abena, if I remember correctly, from Nigeria. Mercades Diaz is the model and we shot at Carkeek Park in Seattle.

Breast Cancer Awareness Nails

I knew I needed to post something on here soon when I had friends calling to ask if I was still alive. Yes, I am alive, but have been completely swamped with work these past few weeks that I haven't had time to post anything. I do have a couple of looks that I will be posting pretty soon along with some other stuff, so stay tuned. Today, I wanted to share some of the nail looks which I've done these past few weeks in honor of BCA month which is in October. I love taking inspiration from work others have done and just add a twist to it. So, I posted the picture I used for inspiration first and then the look I did. Hope you guys love them!

BCA nail inspiration #1

My take on the BCA nail inspiration #1

This is by the beautiful Ms Robin Moses, check out her YouTube and blog. Obviously, I was not going to do the skulls!

My twist minus the skulls plus a bunch more glitter!

For this look, I had tons of issues trying to upload the original photo I used for inspiration, so I will just link it! My Sweet Nail Art Blog
